Adding Additional Nights

If you would like to arrive earlier than Thursday, March 2, 2022, or stay past Sunday, March 5, 2022, please let us know your request when you fill out the room reservation form. Requests are not guaranteed and will be filled on a first come/first served basis after confirming availability with the resort. A credit card will be required to reserve any additional nights. Payment for extra nights is due at the time of reservation.

If you add nights to your stay, September 21st, 2022 is the deadline to cancel any additional nights or remove a guest from your reservation. The resort does not allow any modifications and all payments are 100% non-refundable after this date. The resort will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation.

Air Travel

Once you have completed your registration, a member from the Prestige team will contact you via your HFG email address within ___ days to arrange airline travel arrangements. Please be sure to respond to your emailed request in a timely manner.

Ground Transportation

Transportation for airport-hotel-airport and hotel-parks-hotel is included. For your day of departure, EXPECT TO LEAVE the resort no later than FOUR to FIVE hours prior to your scheduled flight time for your trip to the airport. This is intentional to give you enough time to get through customs.

Americans with Disabilities Act

Since the hotel is not located in the United States, they’re not required to be in compliance with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The Hotel has a limited number of accessible guest rooms that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can request an accessible room for you but it’s never guaranteed.

While public areas and restaurants at the Hotel are wheelchair accessible, some areas are not wheelchair friendly. If you would like to rent a wheelchair, scooter, or oxygen tank you can do so through Playa Mobility. Click here to visit their website.

Room Pricing for Additional Nights

Homeowners Financial Group is covering the cost of your room from March 2nd – 5th (3-nights). However, you are financially responsible for any additional nights you would like to stay, either before or after these dates. The room rates for additional nights are listed below but the current rates are only guaranteed for reservations made up to September 21st, 2022. Additional nights must be paid for in full at the time of booking your reservation. See the “Adding Additional Nights” section for more details.

What’s the difference between the “Adults”/”Artists” category suites and the other Suites?

Hotel Xcaret Arte is a 16 years old and older resort. All guests ages 16 years and older are allowed at the resort. However, one building – Artists House – is only for those 18 years and older. Only guests staying in the “Artist” category rooms have access to the Artists building. If you stay in a different room category you will not have access to this area.

The room layouts and design are the same in the entire resort but the inclusions and amenities are the difference.

Exclusive to Artists (Adults only) building is the Artists rooftop pool and bar, the private adults-only restaurant (Kibi Kibi), private check-in and check out at the Artists building lobby, butler service, a fitness center that’s exclusive to Artists guests, and the exclusive Artists workshops.

I filled out the reservation form but I didn’t get an immediate confirmation.

When you fill out the reservation form it does not automatically make your reservation or charge your credit card. The information is sent to our team so we can review it first. If we have any questions we will reach out to you for verification. As long as everything looks good we will make the reservation and email you a confirmation email with information about your reservation. FYI, If you fill out the form after business hours (5:00 pm CST) or over the weekend it may be the next business day before you receive a confirmation.

How do I confirm and pay for an extended stay?

If you would like to arrive earlier than Thursday, March 2, 2022, or stay past Sunday, March 5, 2022, just select the dates you would like to arrive and depart on when you fill out the reservation form. What happens if I need to make changes to a reservation?

Please email Monica (monica@yellowumbrellaevents.com) with your request and reference the name of this group, HFG Presidents Trip. Please review what changes can be made below.

You can request the following changes to your reservation up to September 21st, 2022. The resort will not allow any reduction modifications to reservations after this date.

• Removing any extra nights that were added to your reservation
• Removing a guest from your reservation (reducing the occupancy level in your room)

You can request the following changes to your reservation up to February 8th, 2023. The resort will not allow any modifications to reservations after this date.

• Upgrade your room category, if an upgraded room category is available. (Rate based on the current rate at the time of the request.)
• Add extra nights, if additional nights are available. (Rate subject to change.)
• Add an additional guest (room rate will increase) or make a name change.

Can I add my significant other to my room after I’ve made my reservation?

Yes, you have until February 8th, 2023 to add a significant other to your reservation as long as it doesn’t go above the room occupancy limit (maximum 3 adults). The resort does not allow any modifications after this date. If you’re waiting to make a reservation because you’re not sure if someone will be with you in the room, we suggest you go ahead and secure your reservation now and then add them later. Also, if there is an additional cost to add another guest the additional amount will be due at the time they are added to your reservation.

I need to cancel my reservation. What do I do now?

First, you need to review the cancellation policy listed above. Next, you will need to send Monica an email at monic@yellowumbrellaevents.com (we are required to have it in writing) letting us know you need to cancel your reservation.

If you purchased travel insurance to cover your extra nights and need to cancel you will need to file a claim with your travel insurance company and could possibly be refunded the amount, according to the travel insurance guidelines, minus the cost of the insurance.

If you did not purchase travel insurance and you need to cancel you may still be responsible for the full amount of the room reservation based on the cancellation policy.

When do I need to make reservations for the parks, activities, or restaurants?

In order to make reservations for the parks, activities, or restaurants, you will need a confirmation number provided by the resort. However, the resort does not assign these confirmation numbers until about 30 days before you depart. Once we receive them from the resort we will send each guest an email with their confirmation number, along with instructions on how to make reservations directly with the resort. 

Do I need to take electrical converters?

No. Mexico has the same electrical outlets as we do in the U.S.

The guest in my room can’t make it. Can I switch them with someone else?

Yes. You can make name changes up to February 8th, 2023. Please send us an email with the name of the current guest to be removed along with the name (as it appears on their passport) of the new guest, their birthday, and their email address. Once we have this information we’ll make the adjustment.

Can I request a certain room type or amenities?

Room types have been pre-selected and are subject to resort availability. All rooms come with a King bed however you may request 2 Queen beds only if you book an Ocean Front Artists Suite. The resort will do their best to honor those requests.

Can I make it to Sunday Brunch?

Hotel Xcaret Arte has an amazing brunch experience at Mercado restaurant, that begins at 11am each Sunday. You will enjoy tastes from each of the resort’s restaurants, including plenty of fresh seafood, in a festive environment, that includes mariachi performances and other entertainment. This is included at no additional charge. *Mercado is fully open for breakfast at 6am but the added “Sunday Brunch” activities do not begin until 11am.

For an additional fee of $60 per person you may enjoy the “Sunday Brunch” event in Las Cuevas Restaurant (at the connecting family friendly Hotel Xcaret Mexico resort). This is a brunch event in a cave restaurant, with live music and entertainment throughout, multiple food stations, a live fresh tuna cutting show, and an overall buffet experience that rivals some of the best Las Vegas buffets! 

If you have a Sunday depature from the resort, before 1pm, we would recommend that you go to Mercado at Arte, since the Las Cuevas Sunday Brunch doesn’t open until 11am and you need about 2 hours or more to fully enjoy this experience. 

Do I need Pesos (Mexico currency)?

You can pay for your room incidentals and resort & park purchases with a credit card or in Pesos. Most everything else, including tipping, can be paid with U.S. dollars or Pesos.

If you want or need Pesos, the resort does have an ATM machine on-site that will dispense in Pesos.

Some parks require a reservation in advance. This information can be found at the bottom of the park’s description listed below. In order to make a reservation, you will need a confirmation number provided by the resort. However, they do not assign these confirmation numbers or send them to us until about 30 days before you depart. Once we receive them from the resort we will send each guest an email with their confirmation number along with instructions on how to make reservations directly with the resort. Hotel Xcaret will not allow us (Yellow Umbrella Events) to assist in making any reservations. It must be done directly with the resort.

FYI, if you make a reservation to go to one of the parks but do not show up, the resort can charge a fee to your room. 

XCARET PARK

Nature, gastronomy, archaeology, and spectacular traditions come together to celebrate life in this family park, the most emblematic of the country. Coming to Xcaret is to fall in love with the greatness of Mexico.

You can also enjoy Mexican cuisine and get to know more about the Mayan civilization up close, at the ancient Polé archaeological site, as well as at special events such as the Sacred Mayan Journey (available only on certain dates).

XEL-HÁ PARK

Xel-Há is a natural park of incomparable beauty that provides everything from fun, snorkeling, food, relaxation, nature, breathtaking scenery and world-class service.

Walk or bike through the trails of the jungle of this natural wonder of Mexico. Enjoy a whole day snorkeling in the cove and in the river, and enjoy the view from the Scenic Lighthouse before descending into a natural pool.

Children and adults will be able to do zip-line activities, swim among different species of fish, and cross a fun floating bridge. In addition, you will enjoy all the food and drinks you want during your visit.

XPLOR PARK

Be ready to share the experience. Enjoy extreme adventures, that will test your adventurous and exploratory spirit.

This exciting park, immersed in the lush Mayan jungle, offers countless activities where you can feel the thrill of flying among the trees with the highest zip-lines of the Riviera Maya, drive amphibious vehicles, and tour refreshing underground rivers through stalactite caves.

You can also enjoy juices and original nutritious smoothies, as well as an exquisite buffet whenever you want, during your visit.

XOXIMILCO CANCÚN

Have fun at a traditional Mexican fiesta as you dance and sing with live Mariachi aboard colorful barges along the canals of Xoximilco. You can also enjoy our Theme Nights! Xoximilco Retro, on Tuesdays and Fridays, bring back the 90s hits, and on Thursdays you can live the nights of Juan Gabriel.

In addition, you’ll be delighted with traditional cuisine, open beer and tequila bar, games and your personal party host.

XENSES PARK

Where nothing is what it seems. At this half-day park, you will enjoy a unique sensorial experience, in two circuits with aquatic, terrestrial and aerial activities, and more than 50 fantastic scenarios as well.

Walk the Xensatorium that will take you through different ecosystems without using your sight. Cross the enigmatic Town, which will test your sense of balance. Get excited during Bird Flight, and enjoy relaxing experiences at Riverlaxing, Sludgerie and the Xpá.

You can also slide at full speed on Slip.

XPLOR FUEGO PARK

Night adventures. Enjoy exciting activities at the only nighttime park in the Riviera Maya. Feel the adrenaline on an adventure between the jungle and the ancient underground world.

Drive amphibious vehicles through torch-lit paths, paddle with your own hands along “lava” rivers, and fly on the highest zip-lines of the Riviera Maya, flying above the trees in the middle of the night.

At the end, you can delight yourself with a delicious BBQ rib buffet, fresh flavored waters, or just relax in front the campfire.

XAVAGE PARK

Unleash your wild side in extreme adventures.

Whether you prefer adrenaline activities or something more peaceful, Xavage has an option for you. Enjoy an entertaining kayak ride, and overcome the challenges of a fun ropes course suspended in the air. Additionally, you have the option to choose between four adrenaline activities: driving an off-road vehicle on an exciting obstacle course, enjoying the speed of an unpredictable jet boat ride, flying horizontally on a zip-line, or taming the waters of the only rapids in the Riviera Maya.

XENOTES OASIS MAYA TOUR

Adventures in four cenotes amidst the jungle.Take an exclusive tour to four different kinds of cenotes, immersed in the jungle of the Riviera Maya, where you will learn the legends and mysticism hidden by each of them, as well as their Mayan guardians, the “aluxes”.

Accompanied by a guide, you can practice rappelling, kayaking and swimming, in addition to flying on zip-lines over the sacred waters.

Before the end of your tour, you will enjoy a Glam Picnic in the middle of the jungle, with wine and beer, while you relax with the exuberant nature of the surroundings.

XICHÉN DELUXE TOUR

The magic of the past, the charm of the present. Chichén Itzá and Valladolid are two treasures worth knowing in the hands of expert guides. The first-class service, the most reliable and up-to-date information and the exquisite cuisine of La Casona de Valladolid, give the visitor a genuine experience and a significant memory of the Mayan culture.

FITNESS

Be inspired by the astonishing landscapes surrounding Hotel Xcaret México, and feel the connection with your body in an invigorating experience. Set your workout routine in an integral training path amidst the jungle, and test your strength to its limit in three gyms, fully equipped with avant garde technology, including cardio machines, as well as free weight and integrated weight systems. Your mind and body will get into balance as you enjoy our yoga classes and other entertaining wellness activities. 

MULUK SPA

DAILY WORKSHOPS

Workshops are from 9 am – 5 pm daily, with a closing time for lunch. Activities could range from 30 minutes to an hour each. They will show different techniques connected to the theme of each building, like macrame, bracelet making, pottery (paint a ceramic or create something), vegan cooking, painting, sculpture, etc. It is like summer camp, but for adults.

Xaak

Regional food with pre-Hispanic influences from the highest authority on Mexican cuisine and its origins. Located in Pyramid House. They have a Multi-Course Pre-set Menu that is constantly changing so we do not have a link to the menu.

Encanta

Multi Course tasting menu – a mix of Caribbean flair and Mexican cuisine. Located in the Musica building. Click here to view their menu.
