This is our favorite Plantation House wedding that we’ve ever done! Aren’t they adorable!? Hello!! Check out the Vera Wang – this is one fashionable couple!
Fan and Chris held their wedding at The Plantation House in Pflugerville, Texas (just outside of Austin). Their wedding was over the top beautiful! From the Vera Wand gown to the custom designed cake, this wedding had so many personal elements. Their wedding colors of peaches and golds were so suited for this venue.
Here are some of our favorite details:
The flowers – Margot Blair Floral did an amazing job on the flowers for the wedding.
There were peonies, garden roses, and big fluffy hydrangeas everywhere.
Love this bouquet – the colors are perfect!
The florist also draped the inside of the wedding gazebo with a soft sheer organza.
Delicious catering from Crave Catering.
The groom’s mom brought Moon Pies – a Chinese tradition – and a few were placed at each table for guests. There was also a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony that was so precious.
Chris’s mom had taken floral arranging classes before the wedding and arranged several of the guest tables herself. With Margot Blair Floral and Chris’s mom working together, no two tables shared the same flower arrangement – which we here at Yellow Umbrella Events absolutely LOVE!
Did you notice the soft green uplighting? Since there was so much peach and white we decided to use a softly defused green shade of uplighting to keep the fresh look and give an unexpected color surprise around the room. It was the perfect touch!
We used actual peaches and added gold glitter to them to hold the table numbers.
We are in love with the gold silverware from Premiere Events!
The cake was custom designed to match the colors of the wedding, the ruffles on the bride’s dress, and the bride’s love of purses (notice the Chanel style markings on the middle tier). Simon Lee Bakery did an outstanding job of executing our design!
Many thanks to the wonderful vendors that were a huge part of making this day amazing!
