All Hotel Xcaret wedding packages include an officiant for a “symbolic” ceremony. Should you choose a legal/civil ceremony, the resort can help you with that. You may add the following additional services to any ceremony packages:
- Judge Services to Officiate the Ceremony

- Prenuptial Examination
De Todos Los Angeles Chapel // $2,513
Usage of the Catholic Chapel is ONLY for Catholic ceremonies and incurs an additional fee. Here are the details of what is included with this Catholic ceremony addition:
- Usage of the De Todos Los Angeles Chapel (air conditioned)
- Microphone and Sound System for the Priest and Readings
- Floral Arrangement for the Altar
**Priest fee is not included, and must be paid directly to the priest.
**Once availability of the Chapel and your wedding date is confirmed you will need to contact the Playa del Carmen/local Catholic Church to begin preparations of documents and procedures.
Pre-hispanic Ceremony // $4,232
A beautiful way to celebrate your wedding day in Playa del Carmen is by incorporating the Mayan culture of the area. This extraordinary ceremony, that is sure to wow your guests, can be added on to any of the wedding packages for an additional fee, and includes the following:
- Pre-hispanic Staff (1 Priest, 2 Smokers, 1 Musician, 1 Goddess, Ix Chel, and 1 God, Itzamna

Things to consider when hosting your wedding at Hotel Xcaret Mexico
Room Block Minimum
There is a minimum room requirement for hosting your wedding at Hotel Xcaret and all guests must stay a minimum of 3 nights.
- Sunday – Thursday weddings must guarantee a room block of at least 11 rooms
- Friday weddings must guarantee a room block of at least 20 rooms Saturday weddings must guarantee a room block of at least 25 rooms
Outside Vendors
Outside vendors not on Hotel Xcaret Mexico’s preferred vendor list incur an additional outside vendor fee.
Room Block Release Timeline
Once your wedding date is confirmed you will have 10 days to move forward with securing a wedding room block or your wedding date will be released.
Off Site Guests
80% of all wedding guests must stay at the resort a minimum of 3 nights. Off site guests will incur a wedding day pass fee.
Minimum Guest Count
All wedding packages require a minimum of 30 guests.
Additional Services
Services not mentioned in the wedding packages, such as flowers, decorations, entertainment, photography and video services are quoted separately through Hotel Xcaret Mexico.
