Hotel Xcaret Kid’s Club & Teen Activities
We get lots of questions about things to do with the kids while the adults are otherwise entertained, so we’ve put together this quick guide outlining the kids & teen club details.
Overview: Ages, Capacity & How It Works
The Kids Club at Hotel Xcaret Mexico is for ages 4 – 12 (they’re strict on the minimum age of 4). Capacity is 20 kids at a time, so supervision is excellent – but it’s first-come, first-served. This is the only “drop off” kid’s area at the resort.
Hours, Reservations & Late-Pickup Policy
Open 9AM – 10 PM daily. They don’t take reservations, except when you’re dining at HA or Fuego. In that case they’ll allow reservations. If pick-up happens after closing, the resort charges a late pick up fee of $75 per hour per child.
Activities, Meals & Supervision
Kids enjoy a full slate of activities inside the club and around the resort, plus meals together. Parents MUST stay on property while their children are in the Kids Club.
Soft Play for Babies & Toddlers
Lunateca library is a soft play space that is available for ages 0 – 5 kids with games. It’s open 24 hours a day and children must be with a parent. No drop off service is offered. Shoes must be removed before entering and food & beverage is not allowed.
Xiquit Inn
The new “kids hotel” is now available for ages 5 – 9. Hours are 9AM – 9PM, with supervised staffing on site from 11AM – 7PM. Parents must accompany children. No drop off service is offered. Shoes must be removed before entering and food & beverage is not allowed.
Teen Club (next to the Kid’s Club)
There is a great hang out and activity space connected to the Kid’s Club that has basketball hoops, table games, and more. Children under 12 must have an adult present.
Additional Teen Areas (Ages 13–17)
There is a Teen Club/hang out area, Teen rooftop pool with snacks and non alcoholic beverages, and Teen nightclub for ages 13 – 17, called La Paxangueria.
Babysitting Service & Rates
The resort books babysitting through Kangaroo Sitting Service. The last posted rate was $15 per child per hour (subject to change). Reserve in advance at dxguestservice@hotelxcaret.com or once you arrive.

- Can I reserve Kids Club spots?
Only when you have dinner at HA or Fuego; otherwise first-come.
- What if I’m late for pickup?
The resort charges $75 per hour per child after 10 PM.
- Can I leave the resort while my child is in Kids Club?
