How Much Does A Wedding Cost At Hotel Xcaret Arte

Hotel Xcaret Arte Wedding photo by Yellow Umbrella Events, How much does a wedding cost at hotel xcaret arte?
Even though Hotel Xcaret ARTE is barely 2 years old it has quickly become one of the most popular resorts for adult-only weddings in the area. The resort is simply gorgeous, has fantastic food, beautiful rooms, and the most magical and unique wedding venues. There’s so much to fall in love with at this amazing resort!
When it comes to understanding what it might cost to have your wedding at Hotel Xcaret ARTE, it can be a bit confusing, since this is one of the few resorts that does not offer set wedding packages. All weddings at this resort are a la carte, which allows for so many possibilities! Don’t want ceremony flowers? That’s cool – you don’t have to have them. Don’t love formal receptions with speeches and dancing? That’s cool as well – you can just have a cocktail party after the ceremony with a taco stand, open bar, and churro station and then everyone can meet in the Speakeasy later that night. But a big drawback with all these possibilities is that it can be difficult to fully understand what a wedding at ARTE might cost. Due to this, we’ve put together this page to help you plan.

Where Do You Start?

For starters, all Hotel Xcaret ARTE weddings begin with the base of a complimentary ceremony, as long as one event is added to your wedding day (a cocktail hour or a cocktail hour/reception combo). –> There are 2 Premium ceremony locations, however, that incur a fee. Those locations are the Ecumenical Chapel and the Todos Los Angeles Catholic Chapel – but more on that later. After you’ve chosen your ceremony location you can add any combination of events you would like – a cocktail hour only, a cocktail hour + full dinner reception, only a dinner reception with no set cocktail hour, etc.

Customize With Extra Options

You can add any additions that you would like – a photographer, ceremony flowers, dance floor, string lighting, DJ, and more. Add as little or as much as you’d like! Here are some examples:

PHOTOGRAPHER/VIDEOGRAPHER

You have a few options when it comes to photography for your wedding. The resort currently has two in house photography/videography vendor options. We recommend requesting the updated vendor list from the wedding department at the time that you reserve your wedding, just in case there are any vendor changes.  Alternatively, you can bring your own photographer/videographer from the US. If you include them in your wedding room block for a minimum of 3 nights, there won’t be an additional fee to use them. Another option is to hire a local photographer/videographer of your choice. However, please note that there is a $580 outside vendor fee that must be paid to the resort. This fee will grant the photographer and their crew access to the resort and the event for the day. If you’d like to learn more about hiring a Destination Wedding Photographer/Videographer, we have a detailed guide available on our blog.

DJ SERVICES & LIGHTING

The lowest priced in-house DJ service package is currently $2,100 for up to 5 hours. Your costs will vary depending on your guest count, the number of hours you would like, the addition of string lights and uplighting, any additional sound equipment you may like, and any setup and installation fees you might incur.

DANCE FLOOR

A wood dance floor is the least expensive (but still lovely) option and the one that most of our couples that rent a dance floor will choose. This averages about $1,100 once all taxes and installation fees are added. You might also choose a vinyl or LED dance floor, but the price goes up from there. An LED interactive lighting dance floor can be $2,000+.

FLORAL & DECOR

Most of our couples have worked with Corazon, as this is the main preferred in house floral and décor vendor. Pricing for floral varies greatly and depends on your style preferences, the florals you choose, and much more. If you budget from $250 – $400 for a bridal bouquet, $75 – $125 for wedding party bouquets, $25 – $50 for boutonnieres and/or corsages, and $150 – $300 per table centerpiece this will give you a good range of what you can expect to spend.
While the total dollar amount of your particular wedding will depend on a number of factors, there are some average ranges of pricing that we tend to see with all of our past couples that have had their wedding at Hotel Xcaret ARTE. You can use the following as a general guide:
  • Ceremony (at one of the included venues) – $0
  • 30 Wedding guests, Cocktail Party ($115 per person) – $3,450
  • 30 Wedding guests, Dinner Reception ($230 per person) – $6,900
  • Photographer (Jhankarlo Photography, 8 hour package) – $3,700
  • DJ Service & Lighting Package – $2,100
  • Wood Dance Floor – $1,100
  • Floral / Additional Décor – $4,500 – $7,000 on average

Based on these averages, your Hotel Xcaret ARTE wedding costs for a ceremony, cocktail hour, and full dinner reception, with the typical extras for 30 guests would be in the range of $21,750 – $24,250
