Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets is a romantic Caribbean retreat that elevates the extravagance of escape to new heights. Artfully built into the natural landscape found in the southern zone of this exclusive island, this ultra-luxurious and unique resort is reminiscent of romantic cities along the sea. A world away, yet only 25 minutes from mainland Cancun, guests of this hidden paradise will arrive in style, departing from Marina Hacienda del Mar and sailing across the sea by exclusive resort boat. Visitors will transcend extraordinary at this upscale, intimate setting with breathtaking sunsets, personalized butler service and elevated Endless Privileges® inclusions.
If you would like to arrive earlier than [DATE], or stay past [DATE], please let us know when you fill out the room reservation form. If you would like to travel outside of those dates we just need to confirm availability.
As soon as the first person from the group has arrived at the resort we are not allowed to add extra nights or guests to your reservation. You will have to go to the front desk to add them. Also, the resort will not honor the contracted room rates and you will have to pay whatever the current room rate is at that time.
The room categories listed above were selected by [NAME & NAME] for their contracted room block. There are only a certain number of rooms available and are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
There is a 3-night minimum for this room block but you have the option to arrive early or stay later. You can select your dates when you fill out the reservation form.
VERY IMPORTANT: Any requests for early arrival and extended departures outside of the contracted room block dates listed above will be subject to availability and rate approval by the resort and may be non-refundable. If your reservation is impacted by date availability and a difference in contracted rates, we will communicate this information to the guest before any confirmation or charges are made for extra nights outside the room block.
If you make a new reservation or add extra nights to an existing reservation after this date, these rates are subject to change and the resort will charge whatever the current room rate is for that particular room category at that time. Yellow Umbrella Events does not have control over the rates the resort provides.

Guests can RSVP through the couple’s personal wedding website or directly with the couple. We (Yellow Umbrella Events) do not track RSVPs, we only manage the room reservations for the couple.
*At this time, the couple does not have a personal wedding website or registry.
To be considered a part of [NAME & NAME]’s Wedding Group, you must book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We offer contracted group rates that have been secured through a room block to make this as easy as possible. To participate in all of the wedding-related activities, you must stay at Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets as part of the wedding group.
If you stay at a different hotel/resort other than Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets you will be considered a Non-Guest and will be charged an additional fee per person, per day for a Wedding Pass to attend the wedding ceremony and related events. The Wedding Pass allows non-guests access to the hotel during the ceremony and until the end of the reception. No exceptions will be made.
Wedding Pass fees vary by event/wedding group and are subject to change without notice at the discretion of the hotel. At this time, the fee amount for this wedding group is not available, however, non-guests should expect to pay anywhere between $100.00 to $200.00 USD per person for a Wedding Pass.
Only credit card or currency in pesos will be accepted for payment. Wedding Passes are guaranteed for purchase only on the ceremony date. The hotel will only allow the purchase of Wedding Passes up to a maximum of 20% of the total number of guests. Guests 18 years old and up are required to present an official ID to access the hotel.
If you cancel your reservation (or remove a guest(s) from the reservation) by [DATE], the responsibility is a $100 per person cancellation fee. However, you can reduce the number of nights in your reservation up to this date without a cancellation fee.
If you cancel your reservation (or remove a guest(s) from the reservation) between [DATE], and [DATE], the responsibility will be 40% of the room total in the case of full reservation cancellation or 40% of the removed guest total. There is also a $100 per person cancellation fee. Also, if you reduce the number of nights in your reservation you will be responsible for 40% of the nights reduced. If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms.
If you cancel your reservation (or remove a guest(s) from the reservation) or reduce the number of nights in your reservation on or after [DATE], the responsibility will be 100% of the room total in the case of full reservation cancellation or 100% of the removed guest total. If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms.
Additionally, the resort will not allow the following modifications/changes to your reservation on or after [DATE]:
This resort will not allow any changes, including name changes, to your reservation after [DATE].
What can you do with your reservation between [DATE], and [DATE]?
The resort will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason.
Yellow Umbrella Events is not an agent of the Hotel and has no control over refund policies and other rules mandated by the Hotel.
If you do not purchase travel insurance and have to cancel your reservation, you may still have to pay for part or the full amount of your reservation.
If you purchased travel insurance and have to cancel, you will be refunded by the travel insurance company according to the travel insurance guidelines, but you are still responsible for the $100 per person cancellation fee.
Once a reservation is booked there is a $100 per person cancellation fee with no regard to the reason for the cancellation. This cancellation fee cannot be reapplied to a later re-booking.

Not purchasing travel insurance could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without insurance, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses incurred and the price of travel insurance IS NOT included in the price of the room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.
Having travel insurance is definitely important and we recommend it for everyone. We personally buy it for our trips. However, the option to purchase travel insurance is solely up to you and you may purchase it through any insurance company you would like.
This website (Travel Insured) offers a very comprehensive policy called the “Worldwide Trip Protector” plan with optional add-ons like CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason), Optional Bed Rest which helps cover onsite quarantine expenses, and other add-on options. Travel Insured is the insurance company we personally use and suggest to others but you are welcome to purchase travel insurance through any entity that you choose.
If you want the CFAR (Cancel for Any Reason) benefit you will have to add it to the policy and you must purchase the insurance no later than 21 days from the day you make your initial payment.
When you click on the link you will need to answer a few questions about your trip and then you’ll be redirected to a page with the policy information and pricing.
The basic “Worldwide Trip Protector” plan, which does not include the CFAR or Optional Bed Rest options, can be purchased at any time, including after 21 days from the time you paid your initial payment but it will not cover the Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion Waiver or the Bankruptcy/Default of an airline, cruise line, tour operator or other travel providers. However, you can still cancel and potentially get up to a 100% refund as long as it’s a covered reason.

Ground transportation to the resort and back to the airport is not included with your room reservation; Yellow Umbrella Events does not coordinate ground transportation to the resort.
We recommend booking transportation with Canada Transfers, however, you are welcome to make arrangements with any transportation company you choose.

Since the hotel is not located in the United States, they’re not required to be in compliance with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The Hotel has a limited number of accessible guest rooms that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can request an accessible room for you but it’s never guaranteed.
Also, public areas and restaurants at the Hotel are wheelchair accessible, just not wheelchair friendly. If you need to rent a wheelchair, scooter, or oxygen tank you can do so through Playa Mobility. Click here to visit their website.
Although transportation is included, we find that the resort’s accessible shuttle is not always available or reliable. For this reason, we would advise all guests that are mobility challenged to arrange for private accessible round trip transportation, for the best experience.
