Our groups often plan a special event to kick off their time at Hotel Xcaret. Whether it’s a welcome party for a wedding, a team-building dinner for a corporate retreat, a festive gathering for a birthday celebration, or any other group occasion, many of our clients choose to host a welcome cocktail party or a more elaborate dinner.
Here are the options for semi private and fully private welcome cocktail party, welcome dinner, and rehearsal dinner options at Hotel Xcaret Mexico and Hotel Xcaret Arte:
Welcome Cocktail Party
This is included at no charge for all guests booked within your room block contract through Yellow Umbrella Events.
This includes:
- Semi Private location chosen by the resort and based on availability
- 1Hour open bar – top shelf liquor
- Bar service staff
- Tables/chairs/linens as needed for your guest count
Optional Add Ons:
- Add appetizers (4 per person) = $25 per person
- Add an hour of open bar only = $25 per person
- Sound system (1 mic, 1 speaker) up to 2 hours of usage = $360
If you qualify for this perk as a condition of your room block your resort coordinator will confirm the location with you approximately 30 – 60 days prior. This event typically occurs somewhere between 5pm and 7pm the day prior to your event.
Welcome Party / Rehearsal Dinner Options
Free dinner option at Hotel Xcaret Mexico:
Teatro del Rio (reservation at 7:20pm only)
- Dinner show restaurant with tables of 5 – 6 people
- Normal reservation policy applies and is subject to availability
*Free dinner only guarantees the reservation, and the team will attempt to seat all guests in the same general area. Tables and layout of the restaurant remain unchanged from normal operations and the restaurant is not closed for your group (it remains fully operational for all of the other resort guests). No sound system or decor are allowed.
Semi Private dinner option at Hotel Xcaret Mexico ($35 per person):
Las Cuevas (reservation at 6:30pm only)
- Cave restaurant with tables of 4 – 10 people
- Same menu as the restaurant
*Semi Private dinner only guarantees that the number of tables needed for your reservation are in the same space/area of the resort. Tables and layout of the restaurant remain unchanged from normal operations and the restaurant is not closed for your group (it remains fully operational for all the other resort guests). No sound system or decor are allowed.
Private Event Option:
Inclusive of:
- Venue
- Basic table set up
- 3 Course plated menu
- 3 Hours top shelf open bar
- Staffing exclusive to your event
- Audio system (1 speaker and 1 mic) for 3 hours
- Requires a minimum of 30 guests
- May begin no later than 7pm

Small Private dining room locations, Hotel Xcaret Mexico:
- Las Cuevas Private Room: minimum & maximum 15 guests, $800 pesos per person
- Ha’ Private Room (no children under 12 years old): maximum 12 guests – must pay the per person dinner cost as this dinner is not included in the all inclusive plan

Small Private dining room locations, Hotel Xcaret ARTE:
- Mercado Private Room: maximum 14 guests
- Arenal Private Room: maximum 14 guests
- Tah-Xido Private Room: maximum 14 guests
- Xaak Private Rooms: maximum 10 guests – must pay the per person dinner cost
* Minimum guarantee of 10 guests, $850 pesos per person
*Same menu as the restaurant.
Semi Private dining room locations, Hotel Xcaret ARTE:
- Encanta semi private: maximum 30 guests, $900 pesos per person
Regular Restaurant Reservations at Hotel Xcaret Mexico with no fee for small guest counts:
The couple may make small group dinner reservations for the following restaurants:
Xin Gao: Dependent on the experience, subject to availability
- Teppanyaki: Maximum 12 guests
- Fusion: Maximum 15 guests with restaurant set menu
- No group reservations allowed for Omakase and Robatayaki
- No show penalty of 30 USD per person charged to the couple’s room
Teatro del Río: Group reservations with unlimited number of people, subject to availability
- Tables of 5 or 6 people each, restaurant’s own layout (no table movements available)
- No show penalty of 30 USD per person charged to the couple’s room
Fuego: Exclusive restaurant, subject to availability
- Maximum 10 guests
- Only guests staying in the Fuego Adults only building may dine at this restaurant
- Non-Fuego building adult guests may be added to the reservation for a fee
- No show penalty of 30 USD per person charged to the couple’s room
