As soon as the first person from the group has arrived at the resort we are not allowed to add extra nights or guests to your reservation. You will have to go to the front desk to add them. Also, the resort will not honor the contracted room rates and you will have to pay whatever the current room rate is at that time.
The room categories listed above were selected by Breonna & Jovan for their contracted room block. There are only a certain number of rooms available and are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
There are 3-night, 4-night, and 5-night minimums for this room block (dependent upon room category selection), but you have the option to arrive early or stay later. You can select your dates when you fill out the reservation form.
VERY IMPORTANT: Any requests for early arrival and extended departures outside of the contracted room block dates listed above will be subject to availability and rate approval by the resort and may be non-refundable. If your reservation is impacted by date availability and a difference in contracted rates, we will communicate this information to the guest before any confirmation or charges are made for extra nights outside the room block.
If you make a new reservation or add extra nights to an existing reservation after this date, these rates are subject to change and the resort will charge whatever the current room rate is for that particular room category at that time. Yellow Umbrella Events does not have control over the rates the resort provides.

Guests can RSVP through the couple’s personal wedding website or directly with the couple. We (Yellow Umbrella Events) do not track RSVPs, we only manage the room reservations for the couple.
To be considered a part of Breonna & Jovan’s Wedding Group, you must book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). To participate in all of the wedding-related activities, you must stay at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana as part of the wedding group.
If you stay at a different hotel/resort other than Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana you will be considered a Non-Guest and will be charged an additional fee per person, per day for a Wedding Pass to attend the wedding ceremony and related events. The Wedding Pass allows non-guests access to the hotel during the ceremony and until the end of the reception. No exceptions will be made.

Only credit card or currency in Dominican pesos will be accepted for payment. Wedding Passes are guaranteed for purchase only on the ceremony date. The hotel will only allow the purchase of Wedding Passes up to a maximum of 20% of the total number of guests. Guests 18 years old and up are required to present an official ID to access the hotel.
E-TICKET
All foreign and Dominican passengers entering or leaving the Dominican Republic on commercial flights must complete the electronic entry and exit form, which combines the Traveler’s Health Affidavit, Customs Declaration and International Embarkation/Disembarkation forms.
As of May 1, 2021, the use of digital forms will be mandatory and no other method of providing the required information to enter the Dominican Republic will be allowed or be recognized as valid. The form is available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Russian and can be accessed through the following link: eticket.migracion.gob.do.
Passengers will need to fill out a form for arrival and another one for departure and the system will generate two QR codes. Dominican airports have free internet access, so that passengers who did not fill out the form before flying can do so when they arrive in the country.
To save time during the arrival procedure, we recommend filling out the form 72 hours before the trip, printing or making a screenshot of the QR code and keeping it on hand until arrival, where it will be scanned by the authorities when passengers go through Customs. The QR code will not be scanned during departure, but it is a confirmation that the form was completed correctly. If passengers need to make any changes to the form, they must fill out a new form.
NOTE: When you complete your e-ticket, all travelers can be on one ticket. Your embarkation port will be the last US city before you arrive in Punta Cana (in other words, your layover city – if you have one). Your disembarkation port will be Punta Cana. Completing/printing the e-ticket doesn’t cost anything.
If you cancel your reservation (or remove a guest(s) from the reservation) by December 16, 2025, the responsibility is a $100 per person cancellation fee. However, you can reduce the number of nights in your reservation up to this date without a cancellation fee.
If you cancel your reservation (or remove a guest(s) from the reservation) between December 17, 2025, and March 9, 2026, the responsibility will be 50% of the room total in the case of full reservation cancellation or 50% of the removed guest total. There is also a $100 per person cancellation fee. Also, if you reduce the number of nights in your reservation you will be responsible for 50% of the nights reduced. If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms.
If you cancel your reservation (or remove a guest(s) from the reservation) or reduce the number of nights in your reservation on or after March 10, 2026, the responsibility will be 100% of the room total in the case of full reservation cancellation or 100% of the removed guest total. If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms.
Additionally, the resort will not allow the following modifications/changes to your reservation on or after March 10, 2026:
This resort will not allow any changes, including name changes, to your reservation after May 7, 2026.
What can you do with your reservation between March 10, 2026, and May 7, 2026?
The resort will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason.
Yellow Umbrella Events is not an agent of the Hotel and has no control over refund policies and other rules mandated by the Hotel.

Not purchasing travel insurance could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without insurance, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses incurred and the price of travel insurance IS NOT included in the price of the room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.
Having travel insurance is definitely important and we recommend it for everyone. We personally buy it for our trips. However, the option to purchase travel insurance is solely up to you and you may purchase it through any insurance company you would like.
This website (Travel Insured) offers a very comprehensive policy called the “Worldwide Trip Protector” plan with optional add-ons like CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason), Optional Bed Rest which helps cover onsite quarantine expenses, and other add-on options. Travel Insured is the insurance company we personally use and suggest to others but you are welcome to purchase travel insurance through any entity that you choose.
If you want the CFAR (Cancel for Any Reason) benefit you will have to add it to the policy and you must purchase the insurance no later than 21 days from the day you make your initial payment.
When you click on the link you will need to answer a few questions about your trip and then you’ll be redirected to a page with the policy information and pricing.
The basic “Worldwide Trip Protector” plan, which does not include the CFAR or Optional Bed Rest options, can be purchased at any time, including after 21 days from the time you paid your initial payment but it will not cover the Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion Waiver or the Bankruptcy/Default of an airline, cruise line, tour operator or other travel providers. However, you can still cancel and potentially get up to a 100% refund as long as it’s a covered reason.

Ground transportation to the resort and back to the airport is not included with your room reservation; Yellow Umbrella Events does not coordinate ground transportation to the resort.

The Hotel has a limited number of accessible guest rooms that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can request an accessible room for you but it’s never guaranteed. Additionally, public areas and restaurants at the Hotel are wheelchair accessible, just not wheelchair friendly.

Yes, they can pay using a different credit card. However, when you fill out the reservation form it will only allow you to add 1 credit card. If they want to use their own credit card, all you need to do is add a note in the “Additional Information” section at the bottom of the reservation form and tell us who will be using another credit card. You can then submit their credit card info to us by filling out the form on this page.
Yes, you can make additional payments at any time. Just send us an email telling us how much you want to pay and if we should use the credit card I have on file for you. If you want to use a different credit card you can send it to us by filling out the form on this page.
Yes. Just email us with how much you want to pay, what credit card to use, and on what dates you want me to make the payments.
When you fill out the reservation form it does not automatically make your reservation or charge your credit card. The information is sent to us so we can review it first. If we have any questions we will reach out to you for verification. As long as everything looks good we will make the reservation and email you a receipt showing the payment and another email with information about your reservation. If you fill out the form after business hours (5:00 pm CST) or over the weekend it may be the next day before you receive a confirmation.
Yes, you can always add a person to your room after your reservation has been made as long as it doesn’t go above the room occupancy limit. All you need to do is send your dedicated reservation specialist the following information.

If you’re waiting to make a reservation because you’re not sure if someone will be with you in the room, we suggest you go ahead and secure your reservation now and then add them later.

Once we have this information we’ll make the adjustment. If you are just switching guests the $100 cancellation fee is not charged to the person being removed from the reservation.
First, send us an email (we have to have it in writing) letting us know you need to cancel your reservation.
If you purchased the travel insurance and have to cancel you will be refunded the amount according to the travel insurance guidelines once you submit your claim, but you are still responsible for the $100 per person cancellation fee.
If you did not purchase the travel insurance, you may still be responsible for additional fees above and beyond the $100 per person cancellation fee which could possibly include the full amount of the room reservation.
No, not necessarily. This will depend on a few factors like the type of room category each person books since each room category could be in different areas of the resort and how full the resort is at the time of the event.
When you make your reservation you can send the request to us in the “Additional Information” section at the bottom of the reservation form and we will pass it along to the resort. They will do whatever they can to honor your request but it is not guaranteed.
No. The Dominican Republic has the same electrical outlets as we do in the U.S.
