Real Wedding Client Review // Hotel Xcaret Mexico

Hotel Xcaret Mexico, bride and groom photo by Yellow Umbrella events

First of all, everything at Xcaret exceeded our expectations. The staff, food, and accommodations were incredible. So many of our families and friends said they wanted to come back to have more time to do all the excursions and also try Hotel Xcaret Arte as well. We got married on a Thursday, most of our party flew in on Wednesday. We had our welcome/rehearsal dinner at Teatro del Rio. It was phenomenal! The service, show and food. They took excellent care of us throughout our whole stay. I could literally write a book but I’ll try to keep it as concise as possible

Shea and Cheryl were awesome as well! Most of our friends and family told us how easy and accommodating they were to help book their reservations. Cheryl even stopped by during the dinner to say hi which was a pleasant surprise to meet her in person! Hi Cheryl Bailey

I definitely recommend getting a planner if you plan on working full time too haha. Maggie from SOS planning was my planner and she went above and beyond for me. I haven’t gotten my video yet but will be sure to post it when it comes. The photos by XICO were breathtaking!! I didn’t want to overload you guys but he got some amazing shots from around the resort as well. The in house DJ kept the party moving all night! The reviews are true, Cantina is the place to be for after hours, the only place to be!!

The staff during the wedding and the FOOOD. We did the international buffet and everyone was raving about the food, especially the ribs. I hardly had any room for dessert but it was well worth it if you have more than 50 guests.

Canteiro worked with me throughout the whole process and were reasonably priced. They helped make my wedding dreams come true with all the beautiful decor! They even threw in some extra goodies for me and that made my heart swell.

Overall, it was a magical night. Despite the rain coming down and changing our plans (we were originally supposed to have the ceremony at caleta fuego) but the staff at Xcaret really made it happen and pulled off the dance floor in Caleta kayak last minute. We had our first dance in the rain but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Don’t second guess having your wedding here, you wont regret it! Please feel free to ask any questions as I’d love to contribute as this group helped me immensely during my wedding planning process! Love, peace and blessings to you ladies.
