My daughter was set on planning her own wedding until just about two months before the big day. At that point she realized the enormity of the task and told me she wanted to hire a coordinator. I will admit I was skeptical. Thank goodness she insisted and that she found Cheryl and Shea of Yellow Umbrella Events. There was way more to keep track of than any working person could manage. I found myself calling and emailing them almost everyday as the wedding got closer. Cheryl met with us at the venue and went through it step by step, literally walking the event just as our guests would and then just as the wedding party would. Her attention to every detail was amazing! The day of the wedding she was there every minute dealing with the countless issues that I would never have foreseen and that would have ruined the day for my daughter if she had known about them all! Thanks to our amazing coordinators she had no idea there were any problems at all. They were with us until the venue was cleaned and closed up with no complaint, only kindness, clear thinking, and a sense of humor! If I had another wedding to plan, I would hire them from day one!
