Hotel Xcaret Arte is one of the most in-demand wedding resorts in the entire Riviera Maya, and with good reason. Dates book out well over a year in advance, especially weekends. If you’re dreaming of saying “I do” at Hotel Xcaret Arte, the time to start is now. Here’s exactly how the process unfolds.
Step 1: Confirm Your Wedding Date
We submit your date request to the resort and typically receive a response within 1 to 2 days. We recommend approaching this process with flexibility around your ideal month or season, since specific dates, especially Saturdays, are often limited. Once a date is confirmed, the resort holds it while we move forward.
Step 2: Request Room Block Rates
After your date is secured, the resort’s groups department sends room rate options for your review. This typically takes 3 to 4 days. We help you review the options and understand what each room category offers.
Step 3: Make Your Room Block Contract Request
Once you’ve reviewed the rates, you’ll have approximately 5 to 7 days to make your room block contract request. We guide you through what room types and quantities to select based on your guest list.
Step 4: Sign & Deposit the Room Block Contract
The room block contract typically arrives about 3 – 7 days after your request. You’ll have 2 to 3 days to review, sign, and submit your deposit. Once that deposit is made, the wedding contract is prepared and sent to you for signature and payment.
Step 5: Invite Your Guests
Our team sets up a personalized one-page booking link for your guests with all the details they need to reserve their room in your block. You share it with family and friends, and we take it from there, keeping track of who’s booked, following up on payment deadlines, and serving as the single point of contact for all guest travel questions.
Step 6: Follow the Process
From room block to wedding day, we keep you and your guests informed at every stage. You’ll work with the Arte wedding team on all day-of details, and we’re right there alongside you the whole time.
How Far in Advance Should You Arrive?
For symbolic ceremonies, we recommend arriving at least 2 days before the wedding. For legal ceremonies, plan to arrive 3 to 4 business days in advance (weekends don’t count). You’ll have a final in-person walk-through with your assigned Arte wedding coordinator 1 to 2 days before the event.
Can You Visit the Resort Before Booking?
Arte does offer a 20% discounted room rate for couples who have already booked their wedding, perfect for a planning visit and catering/cake tasting. However, this discount is not available to couples still in the consideration phase. You must have a confirmed date to access the discount.
