Outdoor Ceremony Venues
Ecumenical Chapel
A non-denominational outdoor covered chapel overlooking the ocean. Located in the most private corner of the resort, it seats up to 120 guests and has exceptional acoustics. Ceremony use only.
Palmeras Beach
Set back from the beach among a row of palm trees, this shared space is one of the most beloved beach ceremony locations in all of the Riviera Maya. It holds up to 100 guests. One of two venues where children from Hotel Xcaret Mexico may be present for the ceremony.
Artists Balcony (Mirador Artistas)
A petite elevated terrace on sand overlooking the ocean and resort river. Perfect for intimate groups of 30 or fewer. A unique perk: the connected hard surface reception area includes a permanent seating group and built-in tiki bar, no extra rental fees needed.
Playon Pyramide
A beautiful stone-surface terrace ideal for couples who don’t want to be on sand. Features river and pyramid building views, lush foliage, and romantic ambient lighting. Can host ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in the same space for up to 80 ceremony guests and 60 for a seated dinner.
Caracol
There is nothing quite like the Caracol in all of the Riviera Maya. Named after the Spanish word for “snail,” this lush greenspace surrounds a stunning artistic water sculpture and is accessed via a beautiful staircase. Capacity of up to 50 guests for ceremony, cocktail, and/or reception.
Playon Musica
An expansive open-air amphitheater with pool, river views, and a grand lawn. Reserved for larger events, requires a minimum of 450 guests, with a maximum of 500.
De Todos Los Angeles Chapel (Catholic Chapel)
A consecrated Catholic chapel shared between Arte and Hotel Xcaret Mexico, nestled at the heart of both resorts with stunning ocean and jungle views. Available for Catholic ceremonies only, with a capacity of up to 150 guests. An additional $1,500 fee applies.
Indoor Reception Venues
Frida Ballroom
The smaller of the two indoor ballrooms, with natural wood wall elements and intimate ceilings. Capacity up to 300 guests. Indoor events can run until 1 a.m. or later, a big perk over outdoor spaces that must end by 11 p.m.
Diego Ballroom
The larger indoor ballroom, with sweeping basket-weave ceiling fixtures and natural wood arches. Accommodates up to 600 guests, with air walls available to divide for smaller groups. Includes retractable screens for slideshows and video projections. Late-night parties are very much welcome here.
